Vigithermal “thermal cameras for fire detection” can be programmed to set the temperature at which an alarm signal is triggered.
Depending on the temperature alarm set, the thermal surveillance cameras can detect a fire in its early or smouldering combustion phase, producing a clear thermal image in which even the smallest details are visible.
- Bi-spectrum cameras with a 640 x 512 thermal sensor, a 2-megapixel optical sensor and 32x optical zoom for long-range detection and optimal video alarm verification.
- The cameras can measure temperature up to 295 m (1x1 m) and detect fire at 735 m (1x1 m) with the 25 mm focal length.
- This solution provides “hot spot” monitoring of sensitive sites from –20 to +550° Celsius. The system can trigger pre-programmed patrols to ensure full site coverage.
Broodmares and foals
Watching broodmares and foals, day and night
Follow your broodmares and foals from your smartphone, day and night: the cameras switch automatically to infrared when the light fades, without disturbing the horses.
- Foaling followed remotely: you watch the stall live and step in at the right moment.
- Temperature monitoring as an option, using our thermal cameras: you are alerted if a reading is abnormal.
- The video analytics tell the movement of a horse from a human intrusion: no alert every time the mare stands up.
- The same set-up for stalls, barns and the areas around the stables, with alerts on your smartphone.
- The cameras have a loudspeaker: you can talk to your horses remotely, to settle them without entering the stall.
Fire detection
Hay barns and buildings: thermal detection
Stored hay and straw can heat up from the inside and catch fire with no visible flame. Our Vigithermal thermal cameras measure the temperature of the stacks and risk areas, and raise the alarm before a fire starts.
- Temperature thresholds per zone: hay stacks, plant room, electrical panel, vehicle charger.
- Immediate alert on your smartphone and to our monitoring centre, day and night.
- Outdoors, the Vigithermal tower watches buildings, stores and their surroundings, measuring up to +550 °C.
- The same cameras also handle stall watch and intrusion detection: one system for both fire and theft.
Indoors: the Vigithermal Case, not the tower
In a stable or a barn, the tower is too bulky. We install the Vigithermal Case: a rugged case with a 5G link and up to 4 thermal and optical cameras on tripods, placed wherever they are needed. Indoor version from −20 to +150 °C, outdoor version up to +550 °C, with no building work or cabling.
